Anna in 'danger zone' loses 5.5 kg weight, health is good, fast to continue

Putting to rest all speculations about his health, Social activist and Gandhian Anna Hazare on Tuesday clarified that his health was fine. Anna is fasting at a stretch for the eighth day today for a strong Lokpal Bill.

Speaking from the dais at Ramlila Maidan, Anna Hazare said,“This is the second war of independence. This is the eighth day of my fast but god is with me.”

In a shocking revelation, Anna said,“Some people even gave supari to kill me but god gave them good sense.” “We have to tread a path of truth and non-violence and god will be with us,” Anna said.

He also informed that,“I am alright. My health is fine. I have lost 5 and half kgs weight but there is no problem at all. Dr Trehan and his team are looking after me and I am sure they will not let me die,” he quipped.

The social activist further added that,“The freedom that we got in 1947 was incomplete. I am sitting here for complete freedom.”
